Lee is an award-winning patchwork and longarm quilter, teacher, fabric and mixed media artist. After a successful career as a Health Administrator, she retired to fully immerse herself in the creative world, founding her home-based boutique business, Threads and Tangles.

Her artistic journey began decades ago creating dance costumes for her daughters (who grew up to be a professional ballerina and a milliner), then having had a good break from stitching, Lee undertook a patchwork class in country Victoria which sparked a lifelong experimentation with fabrics and art.

Today, Lee’s work is featured in numerous books and magazines, and she has taught her craft locally, nationally, and internationally, including hosting two popular online Zentangle classes.

A natural lifelong learner, Lee constantly pushes her creative boundaries—expanding her recent fabric art into varied forms of mixed media. When she isn’t in the art studio, Lee brings that same vibrant energy to the dance floor with line and ballroom dancing, or tending to her passion for breeding and exhibiting Bantam chickens and eggs.
