Michelle Leeder is an emerging glass artist who enjoys the vibrant colours, transparency and permanent nature of glass.
Her works reflect emotions experienced in, and impressions of, the environmental landscape surrounding her, and changes that occur as one season morphs into the next.
Michelle works with kiln formed glass utilising traditional glass techniques to create contemporary sculptural and decorative works. Her aim is to bring a sense of joy to people who view her work.
Michelle has developed her technical and artistic skills over time, with various workshops and classes guided by talented educators, including Brenda Page of Blue Dog Glass Belgrave & Kirstie Rae from Canberra.
